Also Holroyd apparently the victim of a squirrel grip that caused the whole fracas. While still not justification to react like he did, it does provide an explanation. Let's see what the disciplinary brings.

Completely understand how he reacted. Is young and had awful luck with injuries. Think it was probably a release of all the frustration. We have nothing to play for this season and will not miss him as hasn’t played yet anyway.

I am sure there is a reason why Holroyd became upset but he needs to be professional and realise the ramifications of his actions. One punch is bad enough but 3-4 if not more is ridiculous. Following his 1st punch, he had several players run at him and rather than just push them away, he punched anything that approached him. There was a Newcastle player who appeared to punch Holroyd from behind: he should get a very long ban.

I would not be getting rid of Holroyd because he has the potential to be a great prop but I'd be giving him a warning. I would be fining Bentley and Tetevano for repeated offences too.

Given how few games Leeds have the next few weeks I guess he's better off serving time as a Bulls player rather than a Leeds one? Should knock at least one game off it (from a Leeds first team point of view) looking at the relative schedules. Anyone know how that works?

There is always lots to play for. Going on 10k season ticket holders for a start. It would be nice to actually see our best side every once in a year, but while players are getting suspended on a weekly basis it won't happen.
