Still baffled by the announcement in pre-season saying that he’ll return upstairs when the right candidate is available. Surely he’s almost bullet proof after GH said that? It’s not the job he was employed for but we’ve essentially said that there is nobody available that we want, so I’d be very surprised if he’s moved on any time soon.

You have to give Rohan Smith some credit for that after so many other coaches failed to get them to do much.

He did. Also did well to get us out of a big hole that first year. It's a shame that the wheels came off in such an emphatic way this year, but a least he had the decency to step down before more damage could be done. Good luck to him in NZ.
