Quote: The Eagle "I admit we are not in a brilliant place, but the spanking we took at home to Wigan in 2012 is very similar. That team had so many stars and still got embarrassed in their own patch.
This team I think we all admit is in transition. We've had some decent wins so far this season and even sat top for a bit. I'd take that over the last two seasons where we've been sitting bottom at this stage'"
That’s far too sensible, to some the wins don’t matter, only the losses and you can’t take anything from a good win only from a loss, we could finish in the top 4 this year and people would still bang in about the losses and not look at any positives.
It also seems people cannot look beyond the last game as if that must be the true test of where the team is at - it’s not, as has been pointed out sometimes teams get a good spanking even championship winning ones (see us against cas in 2017)
