Have to say I have been less than impressed with him this season in the NRL. Seemed to cough up the ball more than Tom & George in recent weeks. Hopefully the surgery will put him right, but suspect its his stint in RU that as done his RL career the most damage.

Agree with that Sam has not done a right lot this year from what I`ve seen and is probably getting in the team on reputation alone.
Same could be said for Watkins in the past as for me he never showed up much at international level a few years back despite several decent showings when he came into the team.

Milner and McShane are certainly not good enough to play for England and hopefully will not play for England this year. Hodgson, Roby and Clarke are in a different league in comparison.

Burgess and Gale now ruled out, replacements announced tomorrow. Can’t think who will be their replacements with the shortage of players. Maybe Richardson for Gale, Taylor for Burgess?

Its a shame but that's rugby. I don't think Richardson is close to being ready for that level but what other options we have i'm not sure, we just are as ever struggling for halves. The pack i'm not worried about we have plenty of cover there.
