This isn't really a problem, it could apply to any player in the team. He's just come through possibly the toughest period of his career, recovered his form and finished it with a top GF performance. That's a huge test of character and I don't consider him any more of a concern than the rest of the backline.

There are a couple of question marks in the backline, but Briscoe isn't a problem that needs solving.

Yeah it would be an interesting scenario. Long term,im sure it would be a great move for developing goldings game,think powells a master at developing players. Short term it would leave us really thin on the ground for cover in the backs. It will be interesting to see what cas do with there fullback position.

Can see the merits but can't expect Walker to stay injury free especially at his age when his body is growing.

If he has he's found a way to hide it well this season. At Wakefield in the 18-16 Leeds win Golding got left for dead trailing Caton-Brown. Not sure if he was carrying the hammy around that time.

Agree Walker should have backed himself to outpace Ellis but got the impression he wanted to stay away from touch on turnover ball - freeplay?, I can't recall.

I know what you mean but we could cover it by putting Sutcliffe or Watkins to FB for a few weeks if needed considering we have Keinhorst and Moon able to shift to centre with ease. Probably won't happen, but i could see the sense in it if it does.

Could do with Sutcliffe sticking to centre now really if that's going to be his position from now on.
