| One Swallow does not make a spring, it was a much better performance than last week, but god the Dragons were terrible even down to 11 men we were better than them. However I hold judgement over whether the team has turned the corner, I think Wakefield will be a better bench mark next week. However Mr Child was a complete and under joke, the man is not fit to ref under 11 Rugby League, he is on a par with Robert Hicks. Where are the decent refs.

| Quote: ThePrinter "From his press conference earlier in the week it sounds like Ward and JJB are probably going to miss next week although the latter has a chance of making it. Ferres he just said is "close" but I would imagine they'll do the same as Delaney and send him to Fev for a game. Galloway you're looking at a month away at least still. No mention on Garbutt.
McDermott said the likes of Ward and JJB could've played vs Catalans if they strapped them up and injected them etc. but he isn't prepared to do that with players anymore because they'll end up losing them for longer periods. Especially after what happened last week then would've been tempting for him to throw them back in so does look like he's learning from previous mistakes with injured players even .'"
...bit of a slow learner then

| Credit where due, really responded well in both performance and effort.
Cuthbertson as pseudo stand off, sutclife, moon and keinhorst chopping and changing to great effect.
Perhaps we are developing a RL version of Ajax of 70's total football.
Singleton produced a Ray Price style blast from the past and rattled Bird's cage. It changed the game. I suspect that led Child to try and balance the books with the sin bins and penalties that followed in first half

| Unfortunately had to miss this one as I had friends visiting but it sounds like exactly the kind of response needed after the horror show at Cas. Credit to McDermott and the team for such an emphatic win.
Would anyone mind discussing the stand out players? I've heard some good things about Cuthbertson.

| Looks like Singleton might be missing a few games through suspension.
