Looking at the others I'd be most concerned if I was a HKR fan. Got a good opener at home to Batley but then away to us and Salford. If they don't get anything from those two away games then they'll only have 2 points by the time Leigh visit them.

Also Salford vs Hudds on the opening weekend so one of the SL clubs is going to be playing catchup after the first week.

Hopefully, get through this, have no players selected for England (based on performance this year) give the lads a good break and get everyone back for a full pre season and be ready to go in February.

Hall & Watkins definitely will be in the squad plus possibly Briscoe & probably Ferres.

Yes i think Watkins, Hall will be starters still for England despite injury and form, they are still in the top 2 players in their position available and Ferres is likely to be a squad man. Don't think Briscoe will feature.

I wouldn't complain if nobody got selected though, we need a good pre season this year for sure.

Watkins will surely be picked due to lack of choices in the centres....but tbf he is picking up his form also. Wingers will be interesting as their is more competition there, again Hall has done well on his return and is proven at international level over all other options and I think he'll start and McGillivery and Manfredi for the other wing.

I can genuinely see Fev doing an upset against you, especially with 4 of your squad in their team proving a point to Mac the Miserable. A preseason friendly, it ain't and you will go into the game undercooked.

These matches are real banana skins.

If the 4 loanees cannot play against you, but they can against us and the other teams in the Middle 8s, then that's just plain unfair and disadvantageous.

not sure what the rules are but they are the same for all sides. as for Fev winning?? and undercooked? how do you work that out? hull, Wigan and you last 3 weeks. all bloody tough games. oh, and we won all 3

Undercooked? How? We've won 5 out of 6 and the bulk of the team has been back for a number of weeks. We're playing Fev not Cronulla

In the last three weeks we've played the top two teams and the closest thing to a Championship team in SL and have beaten them all. I reckon we're fine.
