I partially agree, but when you purchase a replica top at the start of the season you do so because you believe this is what the players are going to wear. For children particularly I think this is more of an issue.

I don't think it's morally right to bring out a new shirt for a final.
It doesn't affect me as I haven't worn a replica shirt since 1998, but I can understand why some would feel annoyed.
