Quote: eddiewaringsflatcap "A lot of people think Sinfield is overated outside Leeds which is complete and utter bollox. He is a very good super league player who is central to Leeds' success. His skills are sharp and he has a very good reading of the game. Whilst he has never set the GB scene on fire, it should'nt be held against him. Not many people have. He reminds me of a modern day Harry Pinner.'"
Sinfield, as well as being a talented player, has the intelligence and the bottle that so many of these so-called "better" players have failed to show. If you had to pick one player to make a match-winning play, you'd pick Sinfield in a heart beat. It's easy to look at the pressure kicks that he's landed (2003 semi comes to mind more than any other) but there's so much more to it. He knows the game inside out, can read it better than almost anyone and he can lead a team like nobody else.
There's no doubt in my mind that one day we'll be standing in the Sinfield Stand at Headingley.
