Combinations are all important....and if it's the case that McShane is bringing out the best of Burrow then maybe - just maybe - he has to be elevated to our first choice hooker.
Both McShane and Burrow yesterday were sublime. Burrow seems to have learned at long last how to execute the good accurate short pass to his supporting forwards. Ablett and now Pitts have benefitted.
Pitts is another that deserves much credit yesterday...not only for his break, but for his scrambling defence and full 80 mins performance.'"
Whilst i was one of the posters who mentioned his lack of early season form it's not something he's just got the grasp of.
Look back over his Rhinos career and it's something he's done for years now don't get me wrong he's had times when he's been out of form and had timing issues (as have his runners) but it's nothing new what he did yesterday.
He like the team are finding confidence ,consistency and form the fact Mcshane has had a positive impact is a bonus and has helped the team increase confidence and form.
