Heard were sniffing around at Michael Chopra, although the fee will probably scare Bates off. But you never know considering the financial troubles Cardiff are in. |

Leeds Utd need a 20+ goals a season striker or 6th from bottom would be seen as acceptable by Bates. He has always been the same, maximum return for minimum investment. Runs a football club just like a business, which might not be a bad thing in some people's eyes.

Yeah heard that one last week, I just can't see Bates spending what would be required though... he didn't score that many though last term IIRC.. but a top player at Championship level anyway IMO |

Go easy on the sarcasm, there are some on here who don't see it when it's laid on that thickly.
I wouldn't prefer a return to the Ridsdale era, but it would be nice to see a Chairman who is willing to back his manager a little more than we have seen so far this off season. |
