Didnt have the best game tonight, but he was playing on "his" wrong side of the field, anyone thats played centre will tell you its alot different. therefore didnt know his winger, 2nd row and tbf seniors not a bad player

You are right, it's difficult to adjust passing a different way also. Especially if he's right handed trying to pass to the right. It's easier for right handed players to pass left and vice versa.

I accept we wouldn't have seen the best of him if he is playing on his wrong side. Thats fair enough. He was clearly moved there to nulify the attacking threat of Senior, not to do damage down our left hand side with his attacking ability.

Which leads me onto my next question, as I don't see much of Atkins.

Is he meant to be a good defender?

Because surely that wasn't affected by him moving sides. He was shown up on a number of occasions, even though Keith is a legend. However Sam Obst managed to bring Senior down a couple of times...

According to most stats, and last night, he doesn't pass whatever side of the field he's on. Lee Smith was far better - in defence and attack. On that display we should be looking to sign a guy from Wasps at the end of next year, not Atkins.

His one "offload" of the night was a fumble in the tackle which went 3 yards forward and was missed by the "officials". I'm sure if a try had been scored that Mr Silverwood would have spotted the knock on - he's really good at spotting knock on's...oh hange on?.
