So what happened to the done deal for 2017.

After seeing Huddersfield live yesterday, this is the least of their worries....... worst pack I have seen in Superleague and looks like a season too far for big Eorl....

As suspected it seems none of the various stories were ever "done deals" ....more likely they were just that....stories spread from a Walter Mitty type player who whispered his tales of "done deals" (or should it be tails?) into the confidential ears of a circle of acquaintances knowing that they would swallow the bait and within hours all would be in the public domain.

Yep, a quick recap of this thread shows we're all gutted to have missed out on this one! Unless it's a 4 and half year loan deal, in which case I'm ecstatic we've got him in 2021!

I rate him too. I think he's a good player who would have filled a role for us for a few years.
But I wasn't desperate for us to sign him nor am I devastated that he's signed for someone else. For me he'd have been a luxury signing not an essential signing for us.

I think he's a good player and would have fitted in my side well, but even for us I wouldnt have busted a gut to get him to Bulls. I don't think he is that good. certainley glad we didnt get into a bidding war for him.
