Going to the game tonight, any help/advice on where to park? I'll be going straight from work so preferably a street or car park able to take a transit van.

Take a pal who has a Disabled Sticker but do NOT park @ Tescos - they will fine you even though you may have an invoice for Goods from the Store.

Come off M62 onto A49 Winwick Road head towards ground, turn left after Fire station onto Longford Street before you get to T junction Orford Lane turn left on Dorothea street and park up near St Benedict's church Amelia/Synge street my usual spot so don't take last one ha ha it's a 5 minute walk down Orford Lane to ground [past a couple of pubs if you've time.

If you have sat nav or nerves of steel and sense of adventure you don't have go back past ground I usually head back to M62 J11 Birchwood bit longer but you'll keep moving it'll be signed A574 Leigh before picking up signs for M62 Manchester HTH
