| Not sure if there is much to discuss after that match. Thought it was funny that Eddie asked whether we will get "carried away" despite laying the unhindered praise on thick when Leeds ran in the exact same score last week. What a joke!
Sad that London have gone so downhill - another poor crowd. Well done to the Cas fans who made the trip! Loud and proud as usual.

I saw you were lurking for a good long while to post that - glad to get the bile out of your system?

Aye but we have beaten a Wigan (you know, current champions), a Hull (play-off team), a Hull KR (another play-off team), a Catalan (another play-off team).
Course we are punching above our weight in second. We're surpassing expectations and doing what everyone thought we couldn't do.
But I'm enjoying it. Why? 1) We're playing good rugby; 2) We're deservedly winning games; and 3) It gives people like you a chance to be green with envy and almost bursting with fury at the thought that little Castleford dare climb the table.
I hope we carry it on, just to see all fan of top clubs whinging and moaning.

'Little Castleford'? When did I suggest Cas where a little club? Castleford, whilst not a giant of RL are a good traditional club with history.
I don't rate your current line up, that's all. You won't be troubling the play off places come September.

Given we may take your clubs place in the lower edge of the playoffs I can understand your statement

If you live in a country where you can get arrested for fishing without a licence, yet you can't get arrested for entering that country illegally, then you know that the country you live in is run by idiots!
"The last time Cas got a penalty against Wigan, Gail from Corrie was still on her first husband" - Mick Morgan: |

| Wondered how long it would be until someone started spouting rubbish. Do you think Bruce_Forsyth has ever been to a match and thought, "Good game, good game"!

| Cas never got out of 2nd gear tonight, if they turned up it could have been 100.
On the performance side: Channing, Ellis & Dorn were poor everyone else had a good game - Shenton & Huby in particular. Jamie Ellis just isn't up to SL standard, everything he did was far too slow, the difference in speed of the passing and decision making from Sneyd was unbelievable.
Liam Finn, special note to this guy - his tackling is superb, especially for a half back!

On the performance side
I would agree about Channing, he isn't decisive enough with his angle of running.
I thought Ellis went ok but would make a better loose forward than a half back.

| I said the same about ellis, looked more of a forward than half back.
In saying that look at andy gregorys built.
Thought ellis went ok, channing runs about like a headless chicken sometimes....all over the place.
Our forwards are just awesome.

| for a start - looking at the league table now, I don't see who is going to overtake us to get in the top 8. Hull, HKR and Wakefield might compete but they're 8 points behind us already. Even the teams in the 8 aren't special - for me Leeds and Saints are miles ahead of everyone.
But considering Widnes and Salford are already in the 8, to me it show's there aren't 8 top quality sides in the league anyway.
Bruce's comments really don't reflect that fact, more sheer bitterness that after we pumped a very poor side he felt he had to come on here to calm down and already calm group of supporters.
So it was nice to see you to see you nice Bruce, you're certainly the star of the show, but it was far from a good game good game. Wasn't that a shame. You'll have gone to bed with his cuddly toy upset last night, but even if we scored 100 you wouldn't have thought "didn't they do well" ....that being said, what do points make???
....I thought this was a banana skin for us, that maybe London have a gear to go up, but I think it's gonna be 50- every week for them. I can't see ay positives other than 1/2 players who actually dug in. Mike McMeekan for one tried hard. With an average age of 23 they'll be better for the SL experience, but they're an average CC side at present and a year or two there will do them good, and winning the odd game (no matter what level) will bring a few fans in.
God bless their 500 or so faithful who tun out each week to see that. They might not have the numbers but boy must they be tough characters
Ellis spelled well at 9 I thought but for him it was an impossible performance - n matter how well he plays, "it's only london" .....I'd certainly try him again against Batley next week who will be a sterner test.
Can't complain though, we were professional and did the job. Despite getting a bit giddy and rushed early on, we layed our game and it was far too good for them

I think it's interesting because in 2011 just before Easter we were in a position where not making the eight was unthinkable, and we somehow managed to lose our place. That said, injuries were a huge problem, and then the emotional involvement in losing in the cup semi against Leeds took far too much out of our tank I thought.
The big difference is the squad depth, this season. With Boyle, Gibson, Webster, Wheeldon, Owen, Milner, Dixon, Gilmour, Reynolds and Tansey all missing out yesterday and still to play a big part this season, injuries hopefully won't bite us too hard. I think over Easter and in the Challenge Cup games this could be a big bonus to keep us fresh, and hopefully we can roll the team around to make subtle changes that allows everyone to stay fresh while keeping a relatively consistent spine to the team.
I'd bring Ryan Boyle and Ashley Gibson into the team next week, while keeping James Clare and Jamie Ellis in the side. It'd be nice to rest up Lynch/Huby as they've put massive efforts in so far this season so far.

| The couple of games I have caught of yours on Sky over the last couple of weeks, I have to say I am impressed with how well drilled Powell has got you. You didn't need to over exert yourselves against London to get the result this week. I certainly can see you in the top 8, especially if you can keep the spine of your team fit

| As a wakey fan I think it is great that Cas are where they are. Yes they may not finish top 4 but no reason they will not make the 8 .
I am sure if you ask most cas fans they will be overjoyed at being virtually safe from the relegation dog fight so early on in the season, first priority achieved already,
