Obviously not a suprise and obviously Salford announcing him tomorrow.
I hope we get a decent replacement and not somebody on loan as had been rumoured. A proven half with a good track record and kicking game would be the ideal considering the threat of relegation next year. We can't afford to get someone either on the cheap or after some more pension fund

Don't think it's clinging onto a little bit of hope. It would be pretty funny if just about every fan and pundit had called this wrong.
I think that Cas have handled this pretty well in all fairness. For the fans, Chase and indeed for Salford. It would be very easy for Cas to announce who has signed Chase today rather than letting Salford do it with great fanfare tomorrow. But then that's why we are Classy Cas and Salford are the Red Devils  |

True that. And if Bale had decided to toddle off to Barca that would have been pretty funny too. They'd have had all those shirts with an opposition players name on it the same way Koukash would have a horse with the name of an opposition player on it. Plus every "in the know" pundit would have egg on their face.
Chase will be announced as a Salford player tomorrow and so the seemingly never ending story will draw to a close. |

The only problem with that is it is part of the deal that Salford would not announce until after your last home game that's why the announcement was put back from 9/8 and if you announced before it would reduce the feel

Yes Koukash moved the announcement date to do you lot a favour, then Cas followed that by doing him one which was to let him announce Chase himself at tomorrows press conference.

It'll be interesting to see the look of Salfords squad next season.
At the moment they've have made about 10 big name signings, so are they going to fill the rest of the squad with solid players and have a small squad or have a few more youngsters/weaker players on cheap wages?
