Not having a pop at you directly I dont know you - but that is exactly the attitude I hate, somehow that there is a victimless crime in theft from people who "are insured" or "they can afford it".
I would suggest if you look in to the structure of corporate insurances, excess payments and the punitive nature of the way they work - that it is not victimless.
Be lucky for it not to have a cap-ex cost of £5-10k in the next financial year minimum if you claim on the insurance.
My house is insured, but I would be sure to give someone a tester if they were in it trying to take my tele. |

Agreed. It's a significant enough risk for professionals who know what they're doing, so anyone d*cking about with live conductors for whatever reason without the proper knowledge is pretty damn stupid.

A Darwin award, yes - I mentioned stupidity above. But IMHO to consider death an appropriate punishment for stealing is no kind of justice, rough or otherwise. |
