In all honesty I think we will fall very short of the targeted 5000.

Last seasons shennanigans, on and off the field, left a very sour taste in a lot of fans mouths which will be hard to sweeten.

Although the honesty, and show of professionalism that Ferres seems to have brought to the club is more than RW could manage so hopefully people will see that

FWIW, and not knowing the end date of the membership drive (i'll assume its the start of next season) i think 5000 is a very realistic total for Cas.
As I'm tired of saying on our site regarding Wakey, if you want a good club, you've got to put your hand in your pocket and pay for it.

I hope it does come good, however I can't see it happening myself.

The promotional .pdf linked on Facebook was just short of being a 70MB download !! If someone had chosen to take a look at it whilst browsing facebook on their mobile on holiday it would have cost a small fortune.....probably frozen their phone....and taken an hour or so to download.

A situation well managed by Cas again , at a time when they are pretty much begging fans to put their money and faith in managing the clubs future.

We won't make 5000, Wakefield on the other hand, will. However, what is taken in revenue will be a similar figure.

It looks like Cas are counting all memberships in this total Wakefield are only counting Gold, we have silver and bronze too but the 4000 is for the deal to be fixed by the end of October

Does anybody know exactly how many season tickets we have sold in previous years?

Last season was the worst i can remember, this season we still have the same useless coach, a smaller squad, are now segregating on our own fans (which is one of the worst ideas i have ever heard) and it looks like we are going to sell our best player and our only chance of not finishing bottom.

BUT, i love this club, i've spent thousands of hours following cas and spent thousands of pounds, i've travelled to the 3 ridings of yorkshire, lancashire, cheshire, cumbria, scotland, wales and london to watch cas, when we lose i feel down, when we win i feel good. Cas is in my blood, 3 of my family played for cas and i have watched them since being a kid. The club need us now more than ever and i will be buying my silver membership and encouraging others to do the same.

Ask yourselves when you sang 'cas until i die' on the terraces did you really mean it?
