Again, signing Scott Murrell would be an upgrade on the player he was to replace (Lee Mitchell would be my guess) so this is another positive signing in my book.

Murrell would be a much better prospect than Mitchell and still only 26 (can't believe that) !

I don't particularly like these loan arrangements and would prefer the club not to down down that path again - but then we are hearing ANOTHER Warrington player could be coming our way on loan next year - Rhys Evans.

Murrell is a good player and with a lot of miles on already for his age. Odd petulant penalty in him, but think he is improving on that front.

Main thing being using him in a single use. Hull KR have got the best out of him consistently giving him a job to do and making him stick to it. At times, has a tendency to try and look for the game and tries to fill in at 6, 7, 9 and 13 and spreads himself too thin.
If we do sign him and he does one job well for us, he is one of those players that you can't help rating becuase he is a grafter.

Correct. It is Ben Evans (prop) not Rhys Evans (centre) we have been linked with. Surely Ben, as a young prop, is no better or worse than us using Charlie Martin or Dan Fleming? Why do we always have to suppliment the Academies of our clubs whilst ours suffers?

The sentimental side of me was sad to see this however in reality its probably for the best. If he goes to you and is given the 13 shirt and isnt moved around I think he will do well just needs to be a bit fitter for his enthusiasm and work rate to be as good as it used to be. He got made to bulk up and hasnt quite recovered from that, still needs to trim down a bit. Has a good kicking game to take pressure off the halfbacks and can put someone through a gap. And as already said his defence is pretty good.. hes just really slow, but will always give 100%

He's certainly the right shape to fit in with the rest of the Porkers. How about the Leeds hooker McShane too?

Haha, the comment about Scott "spreading himself thin" made me chuckle. In all seriousness, a good Super League player who has come to the end of his time at Rovers. Give him the 13 jersey and keep him there. He's the type of player who can control a game with his passing and kicking. A good signing.
