| Absolutely ridiculous I agree, why don't we look after ourselves isntead of helping out a club that would never helped us out if we entered administration?
I actually feel very sorry for Wakefield (our enemies) I know because they had to drag themselves out of administration without any help whatsoever.

| No facts have come out so we don't know a) what Cas have agreed to; and b) what the "financial" help consists of.

| Easy for him to say. He owns a club with significant revenues that far dwarf our own. Leeds can afford to throw money at the Bulls to some extent. We have to make ends meet. If we are so much as putting a penny into this enterprise I'll be digusted.
As fans and as the game's main stakeholders, I do feel that we should have had a right to be consulted in such decisions.

Of course we are funding it. SLE is a company who have 15 equal shareholders 14 sl clubs plus the RFL. AFAIK Profits are split equaly between the shareholders. If SLE is funding this from reserves/profits, then we are part funding this farce.

50913_1311623463.jpg Q: What did the five fingers say to the face?

| I wonder what it would take for a club to step out of line with the RFL's little schemes?
Half the clubs are up the RFL's backside while the other half are scared to death of losing their licence on a technicality derived from a secretive and unreliable process.

| Just been announced that debt is 1.5 million for the Bulls and all players will become free-agents as soon as the SL(E) offer of ownership is accepted. This could be as early as next week.
Lets go shopping.

| i've been told that the only real costs are the players wages. the players have been told they can negotiate with other clubs for next season and that the bulls have until november 30th to find a buyer.
it looks like a deal to simply get them to october without folding and then to drop them a division or two so they can start again.
don't forget should the league drop to 13 or even 12 clubs the remaining clubs will recieve a bigger slice of the sky money pie.

| The good players will go to the top teams, lulia etc would get dispensation, so theres more aussies in teams, players that break through wont be needed, older english plauyers wont be needed, those on big moeny will retire ie solomona and wire will get the likes of koppy and bateman.
The big teams will dominate, the smaller teams will just pick up points against other small teams, they will never get better, the big teams will just lord it up, sky will get peed off at seeing one sided mathces and say bye bye...no revenue, clubs will fold, the sl will consist of 6 teams, people will stop watching sl.
the amatuer teams will get good crowds going to watch free rugby, the pennine lge will thrive.
Then take over, then no more professional rugby league.
Revenue is bad enough as it is, with less games less money.

| A bleak future awaits when you read that Ritz - and could happen I have no doubt. Watching the SKY game last night and that was a real turn-off. I can honestly see them pulling the plug on us if we cannot get a more competative Superleague.

I agree, it get more and more dreary every week.
Lots of us Fev fans (and lots of 'fax and Leigh fans I've spoken to) are thinking it's time to ditch our Super League aspirations, most of the games are just too boring and we've got a great, competitive and entertaining competition of our own.
