Everyone seems to be leaving straight away. I know we have nothing to play for this season but there is still 7/8 games left!

I think as we have nothing left to play for, Basil and the board are getting rid of players who would be going at the end of the season anyway, so that we can save a few bob. It's not ideal as a fan though as I can't really see us winning that many games between now and the end of the season.

I just want the debacle that has been this season, to end now.

The team certainly aren't going to miss his poor tackling, decision making & passing. His level is bottom 4 SL so I really don't know why Huddersfield want him, unless they plan on going back to the bottom of the table next season with Anderson & ST prices going back to normal prices.

Disagree he has been played out of position at centre. He has been one of the few consistent performers over the last couple of seasons.

So that all of a sudden makes you forget how to tackle, pass and make correct decisions and not concede daft penalties does it?

There is a big difference in playing second row and centre especially at the highest level maybe your not taking that into consideration.

I rate him and I think anyone who played at a reasonable level respects his ability in that he is a good honest Rugby League player - not flash, talented, doesn't kick or want to.

He is exactly what you would expect to see in the dictionary under Second Row: Runs over and under lines, inside out and I really rate him.

At Huddersfield performing a single role without messing around in other positions will be back to his best. i don't think his departure says anything about Cas or him, I simply think he is going to do something else somewhere else, Huddersfiled have their own problems.

I'm torn over his departure to be honest as I rate him as a second rower and hate to see local lads leave the club. However, his shoulders are completely shot and there was genuine fear in Pre-season that Brett would not be up to the physicality of RL anymore. In my opinion this is why we've seen some less than enthusiastic tackling and Brett looking overweight. He will be a loss; of that there is no doubt, but I feel a new deal would have been too much of a gamble for us and so in that respect I'm glad he's gone. All the best Brett; you've been a good servant and ncan leave with your head held high.

Like Dean Widders, just got on with the job at hand in many different position. Sure he can be lackadaisical in defence at times and can be ball greedy but do think he's a good player at times.

I must admit. I'm surprised Hull Fc didn't sign him up,seeing as they sign everyone else from your team!

We'll not have a team at this rate in a month !!!
