For me that just sums this season up. If they aren't interested in playing then they really do need to sort themselves out. If they played to their potential and put some bloody effort in it might not be boring.

We need some new ideas as even the fans know what plays we're going to do each set as its repetetive and it's boring for the fans too!!

True - however, I think those sorts of comments coming from a player is worse as it just seems like they're admitting they cannot be bothered

hes another average aussie who could be replaced by a number of young english players.

Ryan is a good RL player but suffered from being a "Jack of all trades, King of none". Also, playing with injuries will not have helped his cause. Some will applaud his loyalty but I think he has given nowhere near the value he has taken over his current 4 year deal. His salary should enable us to sign at least 2 SL quality players so onwards and upwards to 2013.

A loyal player but gives too many daft penalties away imo. Sad to see him go though.

Finally.

Been a good servant. For all the negatives he has he still has done alot for Cas. Has he been value for money? Probably not but still has played in numerous positions and not once have i seen him complain. Good luck for the future Ryan.

Thought alot about this and yes over the seven years more positives than negatives, no one can say he didnt give his all.
Didnt always make the right choices but always tried and did alot in the comunity with the kids and I for one say Thanks Ryan its been a pleasure but its time

I think today probably showed he's got Cas at heart. He was one of the many triers today, didn't do everything right, but had a good go for me. I'll be sad to see him go but at the same time know it's the right time for him to go. I'll be shaking his hand and wishing him luck at the end of the season that's for sure.

Played well today I thought. Maybe we can look forward to a 'shop window' element to his remaining performances? Hope so.

I'm sure he's been a good servant for Cas, but if he signs for Wakefield I'll be gutted. Don't think he'd improve the side and from my experience he seems a bit of a liability in terms of penalties and general thuganomics.

The most overrated and (allegedly) overpaid player I've ever seen wear a Cas shirt. Would be hilarious to see a SL club stupid enough to take him on.

I don't know, I think Brent Sherwin was worse value for money imo!
