Law of averages say that Parker will get one right one of these days, I hope this is the one in a hundred he does get right. Shenny is a class above anything we've got in attack and defence at the moment, but with both Hull clubs in for Shenny, odds must be stacked against us.

I'll be very happy with Shenton back in the team. I don't think his heart was ever really in the move away from the club. I can understand him going and if it was my lad I'd have packed his bags and driven him to St Helens. But playing for your home town team is always special and I think Shenton knows it's time to come home.

He was over his Cas career one of the stand out players for his constant and complete consistency - sure he aint Mark Gasnier, but in most games, in most situations and most seasons, I would bet the Mrs Car on him getting it right.
Bullet proof and organised a lot of defense inside and outside him in a poor team for us (some of the time), underrated talker and organiser in his defensive unit.

For a moment, lets indulge the speculation and say thats right - could you give me an idea out in the open market where you can sign a current England International centre on a smaller contract - be interested to see what bargains are to be had at cheaprlinternationals.com.
He is one of the best 3 centres in the country - on form at the moment he has probably dropped behind Ryan Atkins, but form is temporary and class is permanant.

Once he gets back home and settled i'm sure he'll find his form.
