| Hi,
I was just wondering if season ticket holders still get a free ticket for the Challenge cup game?
I know in recent years a voucher was in the season ticket that you could use/exchange for a ticket for the game.
I know the last few years we have been at home for this round of the comp so that may have been why?
Either way i will be there - COYF!

| No free ticket for the CC game, the RFL dropped this after a few Championship clubs complained that everyone was getting in for free and they were making no profit out of the fixture.

Not surprised.
I bet Rochdale made very little out of us last year when we filled the side stand. Imagine if we had all paid a fiver - that's £10k+ that Rochdale could have made out of gate receipts.

| Junior ST holders can still swap the voucher in their booklet for a match ticket though.

| How are tickets sales going ? I know a few CT fans who won't be going due to the decision to segregate supporters and Fev's recent misdemeanours. Also been on Sky could effect sales.

CT fans use all 4 sides at Wheldon Road - not just the Wheldon Road end. I also don't think the segregation is much of an issue either. Its what could happen outside the ground what could be putting some off from going to the game.
Regarding the segregation - I cannot remember this happening in 2009 and 2006 when we visited PO Road - Why now then? What has changed ?

Featherstone Rovers - Co-Operative Championship League Leaders and Champions 2011: |
|
| I can see this being the norm for all games in the near future.
As I understand it, the design of the new stands do not lend themselves to easy changing of ends. When they are up, this time next year, I think that all games will have an "away" stand allocated.
I actually think, having been "segregated" at Widnes last year and 'fax this, that it has more positives than negatives. The atmosphere is a million times better than at our go where you like home games.
