So Widnes joining SL was the worst kept secret of 2010 & 11......their main sponsor happens to be Stobart....Stobart happens to become the SL sponsor for 2012!!!
It's just a shame than nobody mentioned it to Bet Fred......who are apparently none to happy about it all, as they thought they had the sponsorship deal for 2012.
Not a great week in terms of honesty and transparency for the RFL.

Personally I am happy with the deal, and this should prove very good for publicity of the game, what with the amount of wagons they have on the road at any one time, the 100 wagons with SL sponsorship on them will only add to good publicity. Add to that fact that the RFL have also stated that they can also add in more financial sponsors, then what is there to not like.

Keith Senior seems to think it is a very bad move. Especially as Stobart have a fleet of 2000+ and SL only has 100 with advertising on.
He also stated that we got £1m from Engage and Stobart have paid zero
Can't say as i'm bothered either way really.
What happened to Probiz? I thought we were going to be seeing them all over SL this season?

My husband picked my son up from Heathrow on monday and saw over forty Stobart lorries, not one had super leaue logos on.

They were only put on the road yesterday (at Old Trafford for the media day) I wouldn't imagine he did see any |

I haven't paid any money for Super League sponsorship, but I do have a massive Cas Tigers badge on the rear window of my car. Given that I only have the one car which I use to travel quite a lot all over the country, does using 100% of my fleet to advertise the game qualify me for a free sponsors box at Wembley and Old Trafford?
I look forward to receiving my complimentary tickets from the RFL very soon.
