Does anybody know what the current situation is with Mathers. Talk of Mathers leaving and Karl Pryce coming in seems to have dried up after it was almost certain according to some people a few weeks back.

It looked certain that Mathers was coming to us, but that particular rumour has died a death.

A very odd situation, exacerbated by the players (imo) over-use of Twitter; if he hadn't posted all that stuff about training on his own, then training with his mates again, we wouldn't be speculating about his future.

He did have a go at one of The Sun reporters for producing an inaccurate piece about Wakefield not being interested. Although he is refusing to comment on the situation fully.

Richie stated that he was back in training but only for part of it. He also put that he was back on his own the following day.
