| Not intending to cause any antagonisation, I would be genuinely interested in your views, this is as I posted it on our site;
Following on from some posts on the Newmarket thread.
If as I believe, one or both of Wakefield and cas will get booted out of SL if either fail to deliver a ground, would you agree or disagree to the following scenario:
Wakefield are on with NM and GH isn't looking like happening, cas will get the boot from SL if they do not join Wakefield at NM.
Wakefield obviously do not own NM, and it's purpose is to provide facilities to local sporting clubs, cas would have the right and Wakefield could not rightfully object.
Incedently there is 91% support at time of posting, I have changed some of the voting options, as the original ones were obviously with our own fans in mind.
Please remember this is hypothetical, and isn't meant as a dickmeasuring competition.

| Answer is no.
Though the options you give for no i cant chose any.
Option 3, why would we get kicked out of SL by wakefield that will never happen . Strange.
Option 4, Why would we need to go to doncaster, we have a stadium being built in the near future.
As for the present wheldon rd belongs to the club we own it. So no rush to leave until the new stadium is built.

| Would I groundshare? Only at GH, which has full PP already and IS going to happen one way or another.
Besides, it's a pointless thread really considering neither club has any intention of sharing, the fans have no intention of sharing and there's no evidence to suggest that either club needs to share, nor any talk of sharing from anywhere.

| Sorry if I didn't make it clearer.
The hypothetical situation is based on the assumption that should either of us fail to deliver on the new ground front the RFL may revoke our licence before the three years was up, they did state this was a possibility.
I am (for the purpose of debate) looking at it from a pro NM decision and a negative GH situation.
Of course other scenarios are possible, but for the purpose of this thread that is how I looked at it.
Like I said it's not intended to be a ours is bigger than yours thing, just a simple poll if this situation was happening, and to stimulate some talking points.

| Depends how you decide if we 'fail'.
The reality of Cas 'failing' is zero because we still have full PP and still have our own asset to sell. Therefore, whether it is 1 year, 5 years or 10 years, Glasshoughton will be built sooner or later. This is in contrast to Wakefield who are relying on the PI to go their way, which if it doesn't then it's back to the drawing board. I do suspect, however, that should this be the case that a new planning application for the same piece of land will be drawn up but on a smaller scale.
Opus are obviously behind WR 100% and are putting significant cash into the project through their various pre-consultations, reports etc, to fully supplement the Planning application for full PP on Wheldon Rd. They wouldn't do that if they were confident and the unprecendented support (over 22k signatures) just makes the work a whole lot easier. It's harder to argue with public opinion.
Anyway, we'll cross this bridge when it happens but for now there is no reason why both stadia shouldn't be built in both sets of fans' opinions. Let's hope that this is the case then this discussion can finally be put to bed and fans from other club can finally go foxtrot oscar.

I suppose the failure (in the eyes of the RFL) would be if the grounds were not built/being built in this next franchise period.

| But the RFL have to accept the country is on its backside. Unless you have someone with £12m+ to burn or can get funding from various organisations and a supermarket partner on the same site it's going to be difficult.
Like I said, hopefully this discussion won't even be relevant in 3 years, never mind now.
Am I being a pain and annoying you yet?

Since when has the RFL taken such a pragmatic approach?

| Obvious troll thread is obvious.
No, we don't want to share with your inferior team in your imaginary stadium. If it comes to it, the Keepmoat.

Well done, for taking the quote out of context and trimming off the start of the sentence, to suit your desperate agenda. You're a winner - really you are.
