nice to hear, if your boys had won today I'd have been right behind them at Wembley.
If the group of Cas fans I encountered on the way to the car today are anything to go by, your fans will probably be mostly supporting Wigan though unfortunately. Strange really, has everyone forgotten about what happened with Cas and Wigan in the 2006 season already?
Well done on great support at the ground today, good luck for the rest of the year, just not on Friday or in any potential play-off game!

| Great defence by Cas yesterday, don't be too down hearted as you have come a long long way since 2005.
Semi finals and play off places are a very good sign for your future and I never thought I'd say this but you look a better "team" without shenton or westerman.

| It's good to see some genuine decent Leeds fans, thanks for the kind words. I will add, that I think the reason many Cas fans will want Wigan to win is down to a large number of your fans. All we seemed to see were lots of arrogant w@nkers, lots of fans that couldn't be bothered to even support your team. We both sold similar amounts of tickets of course but you have to admit you've got twice as many that stayed away because they couldn't be d with a challenge cup semi final. Too many comments from Leeds fans show too much arrogance (banter aside of course) and it sums it up when somewhere on one of the threads Damo is the one of the few Leeds fans who seems to sound like a decent chap. I know there are many good Leeds fans and some even have a soft spot for Cas but our encounter with many yesterday gave us an over all impression of the Leeds fans being arrogant w@nkers. I'll be off to Headingley on Friday and no doubt many there will prove that point valid.
My summary is only for those decent Leeds fans. I'm not interested in an argument over whose fans are better, who has idiots and who has done what. It's simply to try to explain in some way how many Cas fans feel after yesterdays encounter with your fans. It's nothing to do with brick throwing, bottle throwing, fighting or anything like that, just plain old simple arrogance.

| To be fair every Leeds fan I have come accross since yesterday has been very gracious in defeat so fair play to them.
It would be a lot easier for me if they had lived up to their rep of been arrogant morons because I so want to hate them right now.
But that has not been the case so I for one with gritted teeth wish them well in the final.
As for the game itself fantastic effort by our boys and we were very unlucky not to come away with it. That been said the lads in our squad will learn from yesterday go on to win so many semi finals and trophies. I just hope they will be in Cas shirts when they do it. Lets get the stadium sorted and the good times are right around the corner. BELIEVE!!!

| I've stood in the South Stand many a time at Leeds-Cas games (my best man at my wedding is a Rhinos fan, he stands in the WRE at Cas-Leeds), the vast majority of Leeds fans there have been fine, and the banter has always been good natured. It probably helps that we lose most times I'm there, but still, the fans I encounter tend to be gracious in defeat and victory, and a few keyboard warriors on these boards won't spoil my real-life experience of Leeds fans and RL fans in general.

| TBF on the way into the ground yesterday I saw and heard plenty of Cas fans that made me embarassed to be one and no doubt had we come out on the right side of the score there would have been plenty gloating and doing their best to wind up disheartened Leeds fans.
Every club has em I'm afraid and it depends whether you come across the a**eholes or the large number of decent fans from whatever opposition club you're playing that colours your perception.

I think what you experienced was emotions running high. I was certainly in the Wigan camp after the game after losing to a penalty that was soft. We don't have the best of relationships with Bentham (still can't get over Watkins kneeing Chase in the back of the head and that being fine).
But having time to and look back then it was a good game and unfortunately one team had to lose. Cas should have closed out in the 80 minutes. But the younger players will learn from this experience. I won't lie to you, 2 of the 3 teams I don't really like will be playing at Wembley so not really one I'm going to bend over backwards to watch. However, Leeds will be the underdogs and I always back the underdog.
One thing though, I hope the support is more vocal at Wembley than yesterday. A bit of singing wouldn't have gone a miss from the Leeds section.

| As I've said on a nother thread, I really felt for some of the Cas players, particularly in the pack, who ran themselves to water and defended brilliantly. There were plenty of efforts in that pack that deserved a cup final at the end.
