| Its interesting to think how our team will look for the semi. If Mathers is back will he play or will McGoldrick retain his spot? Could Isa come into contention? Will Widders be selected to add experience? Or will Matterson stick with yesterdays team that did so well?

| And personally I'd rest a few this weekend but doubt Terry will.

goldy did a very good job at fb so i dont think you can drop him, for me our weakest player was youngquest (dont think he is fully fit) so for me if isa is fit it should be him and arundel in the centres with dixon and owen on the wings. Widders is a tough one, i dont think we can drop any of our second rowers as they are all playing well, maybe hudson to drop out and move ferres back to loose?

| Until McGoldrick has a dip in form Mathers shouldn't get a sniff, Isa should be straight back in the team against St Helens, if he gets through that play him against Leeds because they have useless centres.

I think Hudson has been a revelation at loose forward,he seems to have a bit of hunger back, tackles and runs well and adds the experience and organisation the other side of the ptb from Danny Orr."If it aint broke, don't fix it".

| Got to keep McGoldrick at fullback. Mathers might be a big game player, but he's lost his place for now.

I agree, i have been wanting hudson go to loose for a while now, it was more of the fact that its the only way i see widders getting into the team, unless we get injuries before the game.

46042.jpg [quote="Bonzo":23qz4bj5]Corrected.
Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

| Youngquest was the weak link. Drop him. Put Mathers on the wing.
Widders in if fit. For who? Not sure.
As to resting players. I think Martin has earnt a shot and i'd rest Orr for Brierley. Couldn't care if Saints beat us as long as we don't get any injuries.

| I wouldn't be surprised if Orr is out this week through injury - looked to pick up a knock towards the end of the game yesterday and was hobbling for the last few minutes.
I've never been into this idea of resting players - by doing that we're effectively writing off the Saints game which would be foolish in our current position. While Saints are going well we are capable of beating them at home and if we did that would be 2 more points towards finishing in a play off spot - a position we're by means guaranteed to make as yet.
Also, it would be great for confidence to go into the semi with a win against Saints under our belts.
Bottom line - if a players carrying a knock rest him, otherwise play your strongest line up....

| TM hinted in his post match interview that anyone who is not 100% would be rested for the saints game.
Danny appeared to take a knock to the hip near the end of the game he appeared to be rubbing his hip at the end of the game
Have I missed something was there ever a confirmation of Emmits injury
