| Wakey fan here:
Firstly well done on the win today thought you perhaps should have won anyway with the amount of possession you had.
Can't not admit that I am gutted at the result, however got to give credit to cas in contributing to a pulsating game of rugby league that showed why the RFL needs cas n wakey in SL.
Good Luck in the next few rounds.

| Thought for a period Cas were awful and if Wakey weren't so negative in there approach and tactics (i.e 5 drives and a kick etc) you could of done some damage.
Like you say, we had much more possession and in the end managed to claw our way back from 16-6 down.
Alot of Wakey fans are saying we were lucky, but i don't think we were, i think we kept plugging away and eventually converted pressure into points.

| best team won on the day you should of scored more with the amount of ball and yardage,
I do think silverwood kept the game flowing in the end and feared giving a penalty too close to the sticks, it was a foolish strip and deserved the penalty but foz should of walked for ten at least for the head butt.
anyway its all part of the game and we've had games where we have be on top so good luck with the rest of the cup run

The headbutt should have made fozzard walk it was a stupid thing to do, though I thought the grapple tackle on clark should have been at least a yellow card and would have been at the start of the season.

| Good to see so many young English players on show. If I am correct only seven overseas players - Morrison, Renaldi, Henderson, Korki, Isa, Chase, Widders

I've came away from the game dejected but enjoyed the tenseness of it,
our season is now at an end so I hope we can play more freely and entertaining and ruffle a few feathers

Theres no pressure on all your young kids because no one has expected you to do as well as you have, kear is a master at motivating an underdog team.

| As much as I thought Cas were the better team overall - made much the greater yardage on average with our sets of 6 than Wakey - I must commend Wakey on their dogged defence near their own line. This, along with the far superior short kicking game meant the game stayed as close as it did.
On Silverwood's performance - I don't think it was too bad though I believe the penalty count was around 7-3 to Wakey over the normal 80 mins which suggests Cas were much more indisciplined than Wakey, which I don't think they were.
The Fozzard penalty that gifted Wakey a 2pt lead with only 10 mins to go was a poor decision IMO. It could have been awarded as a high-tackle penalty against Morrison to start with. All Fozzard did then was to flail about (including his head) whilst on the floor - something that happens numerous times in a game - in an attempt to draw the refs attention to the fact the tackler was laying on a bit long. He caught Morrison with the back of his head and Morrison suddenly thought he was playing the round ball game so exaggerated the extent of the contact. 9 times out of 10 a ref would just tell the players to get up and get on with it but being fully aware of the serious implications awarding the penalty to Wakey would have, he still chose to do so.
Fair play to the bloke though - I wouldn't have complained had he opted not to award a penalty right at the end of the 1st period of extra time, so I suppose that balances out the decision re. Fozzard.

| Enjoyed the game, and I enjoyed what we both bring to the sport. It was an exciting way to end the tie, and you deserved the celebration.
Hope you get Wire away.

| Really great Cup match, thanks! Not top quality SL standard, but an excellent tense affair. Big thanks to Dixon missing the kick early on to drag it into extra time and glad he got the chance to make things right in the end.

| Well done Cas, I thought it was a really good game and should have showed the RL that they need Wakey and Cas in SL.
Regarding Dale Morton, I wish people would leave him alone, yes, a silly mistake, but then who doesn't make silly mistakes in this fantastic sport of ours.
Hope you get a favourable draw..!!!
