He was fantastic last night, against one of the biggest forward packs in the league he consistently made good ground.
Our gain but can't understand why Saints didn't keep him.

Agreed. Last season I thought Saints had the best end of the bargain with Shenton going there and Jake coming here. I'm not so sure now. Awesome. |

His second spell yesterday was awesome, took 3 Cats players to bring him down every time, that was a big drain on their energy levels, superb effort fron Cas's Scouser  |

Good to hear ' Unit ' as he became known at Leigh last season is doing well , I also cannot understand why Saints didn't retain him , he came on leaps and bounds as a dual reg for us

Jackson did his back, I can see him being rested next week. If so we could use Emmit as the rotation prop from the bench, move Ferres into the back row and bring in Isa. Or we could just replace Jackson with Snitch. To have options |

until we signed jake he was obviously a bit of an unknown to me but since then i have to say ive been thoroughly impressed with the lad, he doesnt do the flash stuff that grabs the headlines but just keeps grinding, a real grunt up front. add this to hubys outstanding displays so far with the rest of the pack contributing immeasurably its no wonder were looking down on everyone else, we appear to be a 'team' again, long may we reign
