For fks sake lets get things into perspective shall we, i have been watching Rovers over 30 years and been to Cas more times than i care to remember. I have NEVER repeat NEVER once seen any trouble at a FRIENDLY in games between Cas and Fev and there wont be any this time. Just remember the very last thing Rovers need after all the crap thrown our way after the final is any more bad publicity

To be fair I've never had any trouble at Post Office Road.
Can't say the same about WR. Swings and roundabouts IMO. All clubs have idiots who move toward the violent when their noses are put out of joint on the field.
We as the sensible minority shouldn't sacrifice local derby games for the sake of the minority.
Play the game, attend, support your team and the sport and report those who make the rest of us suffer!
Cancelling games isn't the way to win this IMO. Why not forfeit the season if there's trouble at a league game??
Don't let them win!
(sorry for the rant, but this is an issue I care a lot about, no club is clean enough to give it the high and mighty!)

Nice one, missed the cas and fev games, should get a healthy crowd and have alot more passion than the other friendlies.

Yeah, Fev fans allegedly putting a Halifax fan in a coma because they lost a game of rugby have been 'greatly exaggerated'.
Obviously the acts of the few should not impact on the many (we've had our fair share of that recently), but you can't fail to see how a serious assault which could result in a murder charge would reflect badly on the Fev club and its fans. |

I wasnt refering to that incident when i said exaggerated, the fans were slated for there behaviour in general.
As for that incident i would be careful before you throw accusations, no one has been charged, 2 arrested and released. The Halifax fans were no angels and the man in hospital could quite easily of been a Featherstone Fan

This incident is indicative of Fev fans, ihave never been to cas fev game and NOT seen trouble,but this recent incident takes it to a new level i will never grace their ground and would preffer them never to grace ours, unfortunately your fans have dispelled the family sport view of our game. You have no idea of any facts surrounding this and there is an ongoing investigation so it would be best not to comment on it until the investigation is complete. Back on topic i very much doubt there will be any trouble at the forthcoming friendly |
