| Going against the grain completly I thought may attempt to provoke some Rugby League discussion on this bored.
After yesterdays defeat what do people think our chances of making the playoffs are?
I think the side that gets 8th place will have to finish on 24 points which means we have to win 2 out of our last 4 games.
With our final 4 games been
Hull KR away
Leeds at home.
Quins at home
Saints away
We will only start one of those games as favourites.
So in which game are we most likely to pull of shock?
Logic suggests that Leeds at home would be our biggest chance given our home record and our tendency to knock off our big city neighbours.
However I feel we have a great chance of beating Hull KR on Sunday. They are a team with quite a few injuries and they were nothing to right home a about on Saturday against the Bulls.
No matter what happens I just hope we are secure in the play offs by the time we play Saints away or I am afraid we may miss out.
Thoughts?

| Realistically between yourselves, Wakey and Crusaders.
Depends on the fixtures of the other two IMO, as well as the form Cas bring to their last four games.
As a Rovers fan, i agree, we we didn't play well on Saturday. The plus side, it was quite entertaining for the neutral, we took two points and AFAIK didn't pick up any further injuries.
Always a good game against Cas and hopefully both teams play to their potential on sunday.
Rovers by 10.

| HKR.....can't see us getting anything at there place. What with higgins and jackson both injured yesterday we could be down on numbers for this game.
Leeds......Anything could happen in this game, so the 2 points are there for the taking IF the player really want it.
Quins.....2 points all the way, or it should be.
Saints......no chance, there last game at KR. Cant see us getting anything from this game and we wont.

| My take on it:
Castleford - currently on 20 points (Diff -86)
Hull KR (A) - possible win but I'd go for Hull KR
Leeds (H) - Unlikely with Leeds now pushing for that top 4 place
Quins (H) - Should be 2 points
Saints (A) - Highly unlikely
Looking at 22, maybe 24 points
Wakefield - currently on 18 points (Diff -11icon_cool.gif
Hudds (A) - No chance
Warrington (H) - ditto
Bradford (A) - who know 2 teams both playing cr4p - possible
Salford (A) - Would hope to win
Looking at 20, maybe 22 points
Crusaders - currently on 18 points (Diff -211)
Salford (H) - Crusaders win
Quins (H) - probable win
Hull (A) - I'll go for Hull
Saints (H) - Saints to win
Hull KR (H) - could go either way
Looking at 22, maybe 24 points
Bradford - currently on 17 points (Diff -13icon_cool.gif
Catalans (H) - Possible win
Saints (A) - No chance
Wakey (H) - who know 2 teams both playing cr4p - possible
Wigan (A) - No chance
Looking at 19, maybe 21 points
I'll predict now
8th Cas - 22 points (-100 ish)
9th Wakey - 22 points (-200 ish)
10th Crusaders - 22 points (-250 ish)
11th Bradford - 19 points (-190 ish)

I think it will go down to points difference. It might be a case of Cas make the play offs as long as they don't get beaten by 50 by Saints on the last day.

| I also think it could go to PD, yesterday we really could of took a giant stride into the playoffs. I think 2 wins will be good enough as our PD is superior to the other sides, although Wakey aren't out of it quite yet, seen as they have the whipping boys in the league to play (bradford).

| They will no doubt prove me wrong but I don't see Bradford picking up another win this season.
We need Salford to do us a couple of favours over Crusaders and Wakey.

| I think you are a shoe in for 8th, and very well done, what a turn round from the Barrow loss. Bradford do not look interested and my team Wakey are very poor, we always new we lacked talent but never expected them to have no spirit. Wakey will not win another game all season.
Do you put your improved team performances down to :-
Sherwin leaving
Good coaching
Playing local talented youngsters for whom the shirt means something.
I noticed when watching us get humiliated at Cas the other week that Trinity did not have one player in the 18 man squad who was from Wakefield, Cas had several Cas lads, I think this is very important. Look how not bothered the Trinity team was.

FWIW I think Wakey will win another game this season
I think our good fortune has mostly come due to Sherwin leaving. There was a lot of unrest in camp before until he left
Also, our youth have come on leaps and bounds over the past 8 games or so and also the Barrow game I think taught us a lot

| I think Salford with beat the welsh. They have started playing some good rugby and have their tails up. They have nothing to lose now so can play exciting football.
Personally I can't see Wakey winning again this year. If their Bradford or Salford games would have been at home then maybe, but both away I think they'll struggle.
I said last week if we lost to the Welsh than the Leeds game would mean more because I think we'll sneek by with just one win, but two wins out of 4 and I think we've nailed it due to points difference.

| With the points difference as it is if we can win 1 of our last 4 games it will mean Crusaders need to win 3(or at least 2 and a draw) of 5, to move ahead of us.
I honestly think it will be between us and them as the other teams are either to far back or not playing well enough to get any form going.
