I'm not sure which way you guys will head up to Edinburgh but be aware there are planned go slow protests on the m62 from Yorkshire heading westbound there are others but I haven't the info on them if I find out I'll post it good luck (wire fan)

M62 go-slow protest planned over petrol prices
A GO-SLOW fuel protest could be about to hit the M62.
The protest, due on May 1, is being co-ordinated by bikers’ groups in Yorkshire and Lancashire, angered by soaring petrol prices.
Organisers, who are against the rising cost of fuel, hope more than 1,500 bikers and motorists will join the convoy which is leaving Hartshead Moor Services on Saturday, May 1.
Riders and drivers will meet at the services at 9am, before joining a second convoy at Birch Services.
They plan to take up all lanes at speeds no greater than 25mph until they reach Manchester Town Hall, where they will be met by more protesters on foot.
Sounds like it could be a nightmare for anyone going up to Edinburgh that way!

Just over take them. Or saying that, the protest could be more exciting then the weekend itself, i/e last year.

Anybody going to Edinburgh over the M62 should not be worried about a fuel protest, they must have money to burn anyway.
