| With Widders/Jackson/Ferres and Owen on the sick bed for weeks, Is it time to give the young guns a call.
We have Massey, Arundel and Holmes. And at York we can recall Thomson and Davies.
Before the club go out and spend wages on Loan signings or bring in a kolpak player, I would personally give these guys a go. I know TM has not given these guys a fair crack of the whip, but how do we know if they are good enough if we don't play them. If these don't perform over the next few weeks, then its time to look elsewhere, but at least put faith in our academy first.

I'd say there willbe a fair chance that list may get added to in the next week or 2. Got to agree, give the lads a chance!!

| You have to wonder why we're picking so many injuries though, when last season we got through with what seemed to be far fewer. Why have we suddenly started to pick up long term injuries, and how is it happening so early in the season?
Don't get me wrong I know this isn't a game of tiddlywinks, but more often than not injuries occur through fatigue as the season progresses; as a result of poor technique; or through lack of conditioning. It doesn't seem logical for us to picking up so many when the players should still be relatively fresh from pre-season, having played only 5 games.
I do agree though that this is an opportunity to give some more young players a chance. I can't understand the logic of naming one of them on the bench and then not using them as was the case in the Hull KR game. If thy're not good enough or the coach doesn't have faith in their ability such that they can be included in the 17; then why are they in the first team squad to start with?

| Kear has a little dig
Quote: This demonstrates the strength of having a good squad, ""This demonstrates the strength of having a good squad," said Kear. "When we have injury problems we have enough quality young players who are looking for the opportunity to show us what they can do at Super League level.'"

Kear is not having a dig, just stating the obvious. All clubs in Super League are full time professional outfits and should have decent squads and backup's. It is a good job others have like Wigan, Warrington loaning us players otherwise we would be in trouble. I hear that James Evans is out of the Catalan Game and that Sherwin has not been fully fit. More problems for us.

| Sherwin is a complete crock and has been since he arrived
He does some good stuff when he is fit, but for what he must get paid and the amount of game time we get out of him isn't acceptable.
