ha you lot make me laugh you must be the most fickle fans in sporting history. it was only a week ago you were all on here asking for TM's head and certain players after a poor performance in a 'FRIENDLY' yes folks a 'FRIENDLY' yet 1st match of season and away at Leeds you were predicting cricket scores against you. What a loyal bunch you lot are, and i'm sure the same folk will be on here now saying how good TM is and what a season you will have.
I remember going to a match many years ago when the touring Aussies was over, you were getting caned by them and there were folk ripping up season tickets etc and walking out after 15 mins. They then returned 20 mins later when Cas staged a comeback and nearly won !!

Spot on Wildcat, I couldn't agree more. We have some of the worst 'supporters' in SL, mingled with some of the best. I imagine all clubs have the ones that love to moan.

If Cas fans were fickle, we'd be pulling in crowds of about 3 or 4 thousand by now. If we were fickle do you think we'd still be getting large crowds despite being relegated twice in 5 years?

Why are you spending your time trolling another team's forum and not following YOUR team?

I would love to know which fans have completely changed their views this radically, so much so they are virtually polar opposites.

I think we, like many other teams are guilty of having an element of support who you could certainly describe as fickle fans. There will always be those who get behind their team blinded by loyalty and will not have a bad word said against their team, while there is always that supporter who I'm sure many people have experienced at a game who will stand next to you and criticise every little thing your team does. Somewhere in the middle are the fans with common sense who can see their teams failings but still back them regardless.
I'd like to think of myself as the latter type, as I was very worried after watching our display against Huddersfield, but stunned and delighted with the result at Headingley. Having not missed a game for 4/5 seasons almost, missing a match isn't an option to me but their are times when you feel reluctant to go, and I did have doubts about whether Headingley on a Friday would be a disaster, but thanks to the loyalty I feel to Cas, it paid off to see a good win.
Admittedly I do have afew concerns about the size of the squad, some of TM's decisions and the stadium situation, and I won't let what was a fantastic result paper over those cracks. However, it won't stop me relishing a suprising victory for a couple of days and getting excited for our next game- but whether we win, lose or draw, I don't think it will make me any less of a supporter or call for heads.

Every team has its moaners. Because moaners moan, they tend to be seen as the mainstream. The majority of us keep quiet when there's nothing to say.
