| I know you could book it out for parties and stuff like that but other than that, I don't think it is open.

23517.gif George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side.":23517.gif |

| Would you really want to go if it was? It's horrible!

| Said it for a while but does anyone else think they are missing a trick by not opening to show Sky matches on a Friday and Saturday night (when we have a Sunday game)?
50 people down, spend an average of a tenner each = £500 per night (less overheads) and that's before you get started with raffles etc.

| Not a bad idea. I would imagine they will when we get the new ground. Look at what they are like in Aus, each club has a bar and a "pokies" room. Basically what we would call an amusement. They are all very much business', unlike the clubs over here that pretty much rely on SKY, gate receipts and sponsorship and the bit they get from merchandise (including replica shirts ).

It's not a bad shout, but there are other pubs in town showing the games, you would need some incentive to walk down the Lane I reckon.

| Incentive being that money spent will be going to the club. We've already established that people pay over the odds for tat in the club shop purely to give money to the club
Or on a Monday/Tuesday night to show our game from the weekend.

| The location can't help tbh. Not many folk are passing WR at any time other than matchdays.
Some more than others, but pretty much every pub in Cas has some kind of Tigers memorabilia on a wall somewhere. I always thought the club would do well to buy an interest in a town centre (or Glasshoughton) bar, theme it properly and then run it as a 7 day operation.

Not the feather apparentley was told the other week that the owner is a leeds fan and has his staff all wear leeds tops on match days, not a great way to attract custom.
