i know its a a week and a bit away but was thinkin about travelling there
and was wondering if anyone was getting the train from knottingley/cas line ??

think you have to change in leeds and get the train that stops at burley park. |

Or get the Number 1 bus from the bus station to the Arndale Centre. I wish I was going but I live a bit further away and can't get there without a rush.  |

Getting into Leeds, the 167/8 are much quicker than the 163/6. The same could be said for the 410 which runs via Xscape and Glasshoughton. |

Train back to Cas, dodging he clippy.

No ticketman any more just a set of mechanical doors, that you don't need to pass through to reach the platform for Burley Park.

| Last time I got the train to Headingley must have been for the NL1 Final the other year, it was absolutely rammed and when the train got to Woodlesford with very little space left and quite a lot of people wanting to get on, I started a "You're not getting on" chant on the train. It must have been the smallest train they could have sent too. |
