I love this city,
this is my town.
We get a week out, without a doubt,
gunna sing it out loud.

With the state of the land up at J32 builing such a heavy structure would be a death wish with the state of the land.

| Quote: Sandal Wild Cat "As far as funding for J30 goes, keep your ears to the ground!
Two HUGE grants will be announced within the next month. Sport England & The Youth Sports Council will both commit to the project. Thats what you get for having men in charge with connections.
However untill they are announced the project will continue to get be frowned upon by some people.
With these grants and the market leading supermarket interested buying BV funding could be in place before the end of next month. With that in mind and the creation of jobs and future income there will be no problems getting PP.'"
Good luck with Sport England, nice to see you have connections at Red Hall.

23517.gif George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side.":23517.gif |

| I wonder if we have already built it, but it's sunk into the land? That could be why RW has gone all quiet. I mean how stupid would he look if they had built a stadium and the bloody thing had sunk into the ground. He is probably trying to secure funding to raise the stadium from the Glasshoughton soil as we speak. I bet they have got Red Adair in, I hope they can get it clean for 2011.

| To the few Wakey fans saying the land is sinking:
So was the land where Xscape is, they just sink in some concrete & steel supports to hold the land and building up, it's simple really - there will be a plan in place seems it happened about 300 yards down the road at Xscape, so it's nothing to worry about.

Goodbye all. It was nice knowing most of you.: |

I think it's an old pit site Baz. They could have awful problems with subsidence on ground like that. You know, a bit like was happening with the Xscape site. Mind you, with a heavy stadium to support, who knows what might happen?

They'll be alright if they spread the load, the stadiums being going to be built at Belle Vue, Ossett, Thornes Park, the field just over the road at J30 (It was a gift I recall from someone who didn't own it) even College Grove was mentioned as a location many moons ago. So with a spread like that for such an 'Heavy' structure they should be okay & the only sinking feeling will be when they fail the next franchise round (Hopefully). Or move it to Barnsley afterall thats what they used to get into SL in the first place.

24084.jpg Disco - Expansion of the game is a good thing, undoubtedly, but in the main what people simply want to assert is that you don't kill the roots to spread the tree.
The Curtism - The battles are fought on the field and the friends are made in the bar. There's no hatred among real men.

I do hope they don't get 'Shafted' with this one....
And anyone mention sharing oe the 'M' word again, go and sit down for an hour and read a few excerpts from the boook from last time 'Merging on the Ridiculous'....that should bring you to your senses.

| Maybe Trinity, Cas or both will sink their stadiums so far that we have to play in the NRL instead of SL.

Well at least you've said it how it is and fair play to you, lots of other posters try to "cover up there true thoughts"
I'll be glad when we both get sorted and we can get back to us taking the pee after we've beaten you again, you know the old rugby league stuff
