They haven't called the stadium Five Towns Park.

The whole project is called Five Towns Park (nature reserve, retail and stadium). It's been called that because it's about delivering a project for the benefit of the Five Towns, aimed at keeping Five Towns pounds in the five towns area than heading to Leeds or Wakefield.

To be fair it would not take much to be better than both stadiums, the reason I said that is because there are rumours' around of financial difficulties at the club even though the recent ccj has been sorted, like Wakey and Cas before them they are unlikely to advertise their financial failings if indeed they do have debts hopefully not, which brings me back to my original tongue in cheek point, it does not matter how good the ground is it's a saleable asset if your in financial trouble.

I'm all for that Fully. Can't stand having to drive to the White Rose or Crown Point. It could be a new slogan that "keep the pound in the 5 towns".

The new site is owned by Lateral Property Developments and I believe they have they have a company they already have lined up that they have worked with in the past.

Stadium will be owned by Cas.

The reason I asked is because I genuinely did not know exactly other than in the vicinity of the escape area just where Waystones was building their/your stadium which prompted my question, does Waystone still own the land or have they sold it or are we talking about a different piece of land?

The land near Xscape is dead in the water. I think we have told Waystone we're not going there.

The new piece of land is the side of J32 roundabout on the right between Park Road and Spittal Hardwick Lane at opposite side of the land. It is owned by Lateral and will be redeveloped to have a retail park, stadium, petrol station and a nature park.

There was a bunch of surveyers on there on Friday morning. They were out with tripods the lot. If anyone out there knows why they use it i would like to know!

Same here for me Jinge regarding the proposed new Tigers stadium. Not too fussed if it happens or not although I do understand why we need to move. I'm quite happy where we are but we would have to upgrade Wheldon Road and that would cost a fortune.

I think the days of having to forcibly upgrade have thankfully gone, our clubs can now hopefully refurb our old grounds without fear of reprisals.
As for your stadium I obviously haven't a clue but everyone involved must keep on their toes and keep in mind how we've been utterly shafted!
