I thought you were supposed to be an ex-referee!
The answers are always included in refereeing tests. You don't make up your own rules, you use the answers provided. If you'd ever been an actual referee you'd have known that.

So Chase is running forward he passes the ball on the 10 metre line - the catcher catches the ball 5 metres from the line but Chase is 4 metres from the line when he pass is caught - how is that not a forward pass?

It's got nothing to do with where Chase was when the ball is caught!!!!
It's the momentum he had when he passed the ball. Now, for your scenario, if he was sprinting forward at something like 25 m/s...then he would be in the Olympics, not in RL.
You are right. It's a forward pass. |

Scoreline flattered Leeds IMO, although their defence really was excellent. Until the game got away from them, thought your boys showed the kind of application that would have been rewarded with tries on any other night. |

Agreed.
I walked away from the ground tonight pleased with the effort but feeling hard done by and that the scoreline was harsh on a Cas side that really deserved more than the 6 point showing they had. |
