Must be gutting when that 'small town in Wakefield' is doing so much better than yourselves.
Unlucky yesterday Cas, but at least you got to the final and gave it a go.

Not at all, one season in the sun and now Cas are an established top team? Let's see next season when Cas lose the spine of the team and have to rebuild like Wakefield have for the past god knows how many seasons. HTH.

| Ignore the troll.
Just to have been to Wembley to watch your team in a cup final must have been immense, despite the scoreline.

| I wasn't too disappointed with the result Yesterday maybe because we just were not at the races from the start and we did get better in the second half.
Leeds got their tactics right and won the ruck hands down. They sacrificed pressure for controlled restarts.
If our marker defence wasn't so lethargic we could still have been well and truly in the game, holding down only helps defence get back 10 metres it doesn't help marker defence as you still have to roll away eventually leaving only one marker and then Leeds were stealing 10/12 yards every time.fix that and we got a lot to play for yet this season.

| Good luck for the rest of the season lads - lets hope the Leeds / Cas rivalry picks up from here - Wheldon Road is one of the best RL grounds to visit.
I have visited Wembley many times, and Wakefield fans are the most miserable set of wet blanket supporters it has ever been my misfortune to meet.

Ooh let's try and get the Cas fans on side by having a go at their nearest local rivals. MP is just one guy. Most Wakefield supporters were happy for Cas (within reason) and were supporting them over Leeds.
Maybe they are just miserable when they meet you? Who knows.
Amyway, great effort Cas. Pity it didn't work out but you weren't shown up like some have been.
Must push on to the playoffs now and not be too down hearted. You could be second by the playoffs and a trip to Old Trafford is not out of the question. Make it a big year.

| Hard luck. You were unlucky to meet a Leeds team in full winning mode and I feel sure on the day no other SL side would have done any better. Your team and coach are a credit to the game and I really do hope we could meet again in the Grand Final this year.

| Not all Wakefield fans wanted Cas to loose and to band everyone together isn't fair.
I wanted Cas to win, a team without the clout moneywise of the big teams winning was good for the game. I think it would have been good for the form and work this year to account for some silverwear.
You didn't win but you got to go to Wembley and support your team. I just thought Leeds tactic were spot on the controlled the ruck and the speed and just looked to have more size and energy. I can't remember Clarke running from dummy half and this was due to the control they had. I've not seen as many games as the Cas fans but to me Snyed looks a different player since he has signed for Hull, he just seems to have lost a lot of what he had.
Good luck from a support of the other team from the district.
