Great idea but a few thoughts:

1. Why the limit on the number of bricks? the whole idea is to raise funds towards a new stadium so the more sold the better-
2. Why so expensive, it has taken it out of the range of many ordinary fans who would jump at the chance, including kids who just can't afford £50, surely 5000 bricks at £25 is much better than 1000 at £50.
3. Why stop at bricks on the stadium wall, a walkway leading to the ground with engraved names on block paving, eg Old Trafford
4. Are the bricks going to be censored to make sure all the comments are suitable? - (Several hundred bricks "We all hate Leeds " - could get a bit repetitive - lol - Seriously who is going to decide what is/isn't appropriate?)

It costs in the first place to get things engraved which is i'm guessing is why it's a higher price. £50 isn't alot at all. It's probably the amount most kids get on a birthday? Not a bad present to be honest? It'll be there for a lifetime?

Someone is probably going to have to check what's on each brick is appropriate too, that'd cost?

Reading this thread- it highlights to me that RW is as crafty a spin doctor as Alistair Campbell. I think both Wakey and Cas camps are choosing their words very carefully when it comes to the ground issue.
I hope both teams make it as hard as possible for those crooks at the RFL, I really do.

Really good idea but why did we not announce this 2/3 years ago? Probably would have created more funds then rather than waiting so long on.

On the casforum site one of the posters has stated that waystone have begun the tendering process for teh ground works up at the GH site. He says this because the company he works for has been asked to submit a tender.

The thread starts along the lines of - has something happend up at GH with regards to the earthworks being done. Stood here at the moment and it looks different compared to what it did last week.
