I think in part, you've hit the nail on the head, perceived popularity!
But lets just say (hypotheticaly) that a problem arose with GH, affecting the short term. Not long enough to worry cas, but long enough to worry the RFL.
Would cas (the fans or the club) prefer to travel further rather than IF NM is built, go there?
I agree long term, the paranoid Kinleycat, would be expecting the M word to come from on high the RFL, so i wouldn't, nor would i expect anyone at WTW to support such a long term move.
On the other hand, it would benefit financially both clubs and sets of supporters, and i do believe (and if i'm honest i thought that ground share,was the original idea when NM was first mooted) it is a very sensible project in a very sensible area. |

If cas fans had to travel most i'm sure would prefer doncaster, never heard a cas fan have a bad word to say about the ground and if every 'home' game becomes an away one we might as well go to a ground we all like. Wouldnt bother with newmarket doubt i could be bothered to spend the money traveling to every 'home' game if we had to go there, anyway as mentioned the cas bod know moving there, even for a season is a licence to lose money, how many rl teams have moved to a ground outside there home town and not decreased there support? I know you dont have any choice about where you have to move to but even for yourselves i can see you getting thousands less at newmarket than you would at a new stadium actually inside wakefield. Also who would financially benefit from cas sharing at new market? not cas obviously we lose money from matchday revenue and have to pay rent, who would get that rent money and what would they do with it. Sorry KC but you've got yourself a complete and utter non starter here. |

Think they would be pretty up for it, there are lot of family and social ties between selby and cas, theres a much better relationship between cas and selby than cas and wakey. They would benefit alot by having a greater population and greater tax income in there district. They only ones who would stand to lose would be wmdc. |

I'll try but i think it will be a waste of breath.
Certainly no intention of mischief on my behalf, i think there is always room for debate on such topics and i have tried to be balanced on both ours and this forum.
Scroungers? i dont understand.
Planning permission, we are on with it, i think its been put in, we are just awaiting the outcome and then the work should take about a month i believe.
GH being built before NM....collection buckets etc etc. Who knows, judging by the standard of your post, clearly you don't. FWIW i hope we both end up where we want to be, and sooner rather than later.
Castleford will never share..... you certainly dont speak for the club and all of its supporters (i'm sure they are mostly glad of it), as it doesnt appear to be your strongest suit.
Time will tell, but there is little harm in reasoned discussion on the subject.

Articulate isn't the same as aloof, only in the minds of the simple.
If the welsh experiment had worked, you may well have wished it hadn't , and for two reasons.
1) the RFL would have though it will work in Scotland and Ireland too, then another team in France, and that could've been the death knell for other historic clubs, including yours!
2) it would have been finely balanced as to who went, my money's on crusaders going anyway, but theres no guarantee that it wasn't either of us.
Unlike most cas fans who have entered into this debate, you appear to have something of a chip on your shoulder and seem incapable of rational conversation.
I shall leave you to continue in your Ill judged and stunted manner, name calling etc (very brave) and wish you well.
