| Leeds fan in peace.
Commiserations on today. Nobody knows better than us how gutting a Wembley defeat is. But fans players and coach did you proud today. Experience probably told a bit.
Some teams on the up get to a final, lose and then die away. Not going to be the case for Cas. Some quality players, a top coach and a good team ethos. Today was just the start, both this season and beyond.
Hope you all still had a good day. Next big day out won't be long.

| 12 months ago we were relegation fodder, the club was in tatters and the crowds were falling like a stone. Look at us now - I left the ground today feeling nothing but immense pride in how the players and the fans handled themselves today. Yes, it was not our best performance, but you can only play as well as your opponent lets you play, and our opponents were clinical. We've come from nowhere and bloody stuck our place in the world of RL once again. Very proud today - long may it continue.

| Well done today and well done to the strides you've made in SL this season. We've been there twice over the last few years and lost both but have grown from that experience. We won the LLS last season and now are challenging at the top end of SL consistently and in with a great shout of getting to Old Trafford. With the players and coaching staff you've got I think you'll build on today's disappointment and come out stronger and better for it.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

If you live in a country where you can get arrested for fishing without a licence, yet you can't get arrested for entering that country illegally, then you know that the country you live in is run by idiots!
"The last time Cas got a penalty against Wigan, Gail from Corrie was still on her first husband" - Mick Morgan: |

| All valuable experience at the end of the day, how many times will our lads have played in front of a crowd that size? I think this is just the start of something at Cas and hopefully we will build on it with Daryl & Danny in charge.

| Looking back on yesterdays game it was almost a carbon copy of Leeds Semi Final win.
They hit us hard and early, capitalised on our errors and we went into panic mode as our starting half backs struggled to gain a foot hold in the game. The hooter for the first half couldn't come fast enough for me.
Second half we gave it a good go but their experience really shone through and pains me to say it were worthy winners. I thought our best player by some distance was Lee Jewitt ....this season really has been a fairy tale for him.
As previous posters have said very proud of the progress we have made as a club, lets hope we can build on it!

| Not disappointed with the fact that we lost. Leeds were the better team and controlled the game superbly.I am disappointed that we didn't show how good we can be, and I am a bit deflated by that. But I will be darn't lane on Monday to cheer the boys and I cant wait for sunday to see us begin our run into the finals. COYF

| As a Leeds fan I just want to say well done to all involved with Castleford yesterday. Your players never gave in, your coach was classy in defeat and you, the fans, were a credit to yourselves. I had a great day chatting to lots of you, and enjoying some great banter. You've got so much to be proud of with this bunch of lads, and I hope this year is the start of a long period of great Leeds-Cas games.

Must be gutting when that 'small town in Wakefield' is doing so much better than yourselves.
Unlucky yesterday Cas, but at least you got to the final and gave it a go.

Not at all, one season in the sun and now Cas are an established top team? Let's see next season when Cas lose the spine of the team and have to rebuild like Wakefield have for the past god knows how many seasons. HTH.

| Ignore the troll.
Just to have been to Wembley to watch your team in a cup final must have been immense, despite the scoreline.
