He's a Cas player so if Cas have a recall clause they can recall him whether Leigh like it or not. Not to mention it's a dual reg. |

Top player, Heard he's been doing quite well at Hull, so surprised why he will be getting released. Top try scorer last year in a very competitive league. Better than Orr and Mcoldrick in the halfs. Sign him up!

In Ian Millwards program notes yesterday he stated that priorities for next year are 2 centres (Shenton ? + 1 overseas maybe). A back row forward (to replace Ferres ?) and a half back but didn't state if Orr would continue playing. This could be Jamie Ellis.

If you believe Dave "Nosey" Parker in League Weekly (not many people do - I know) yes he might be. Hudds have offerered him £100 K per season. Also another club are interested apparently. Not signed with Cas though - yet. |

All this Brierley stuff is a little boring.
He is now on Loan as from April 20th for the whole season.
Is he SL standard ? No, but he is having a great time at his boyhood club. As already has been said, I can see him staying at Leigh now.
Millward has inherited a side going through massive change. One thing to note about Ian, give him 12 months and the kids will be excellent. Some of his attacking moves are almost unplayable so be patient Cas fans.
Cas will do nothing this year. Next season will see it gel and the infrastructure will be that of years rather than short term !
