Not quite sure what else you want. Personally, I hope you get your new ground along with ourselves, but it just seems like Richard Wright gives out different messages each week. Like someone said earlier, it comes across as stalling tactics.

Where does he say (RW) the ground has been sold ? As far as I can see I think RW means that the Chemical Plant has been blocking the sale of the ground but now that has been lifted we can go ahead and sell the ground. The rest just seems like lazy journalism.

Sorry, Marshy, if I seem a little y tonight. Was hoping to come on here and find a long thread about people buying bricks but knew the WTW lot would probably come out to play. No doubt it will transfer itself across to their forum soon enough.

Anyway, buying a brick is a brilliant idea to get people involved in a small way but obviously ( but not to some people) will not contribute greatly to funding in the grand scheme of things.

I will be buying several for what it's worth!

We're gonna have a family message on ours but we have no idea what yet, being a family full of Cas fans....

It's a small gesture from the fans but it helps get a corner built at least. I don't know what the limit is but 1,000 bricks selling, bringing in £49,000 would be a great achievement.

Dickie Wright knew exactly what he was doing in that article. He was more than happy to be mis quoted, it gave him some slack to back down when the real truth came out!

No, I offer an unbiased view. Something which some Wakefield fans dislike. Some member on that forum want everyone to agree with their opinion, even their own fans.

But diddums, at least I offer constructive posts, not awful trolling attempts like the ones displayed by yourself above.

What will be, will be. There are a few people clearly intent on winding each other up and trolling however, there are a few who do want genuine discussion and do their best to do it in the middle of all the crap that's flying about.

It's a shame the situation is as it is because I'm sure if it wasn't such a forced issue regarding stadia and deadlines, both clubs would be supporting each other and the forums would be a whole different atmosphere.

There was no need for this thread to head off on a tangent about the stadium and I think that given the nature of this fundraising project, and that many fans may choose to use it to make a dedication to an absent friend or loved one, the trolling of some so called Wakefield fans is extremely disrespectful. Unfortunately I've come to expect nothing less of late, with some of the posts I've read on here.



There's been no mention that I've seen of how many are available but there will be a limit. I was thinking that the price may put people off but having thought about what the purchaser is actually getting, I think many will see the benefit.

I can see thousands of these selling, not everyone will be buying just the odd one or two. Its going to cost me a few quid for the family thats for sure

Excellent idea, the fact that fans have put this forward and the club has listened is good news too. Some people i have talked to think the price is a bit steep but considering it will last a life time and it means you can say 'i did my bit to get the ground built' i think its a bargain.

As i put on the other forum i also think you should be able to buy a brick from wheldon road (and maybe some of the pitch) as i'm sure lots of people would like to buy there own bit of history.

Ignore the wakey trolls there obviously panicking about having no owners/taxman/having such a weak team/the secretary of state or whatever other calamity they are going through this week.

I have said it before and I'll say it again now. The fans have to come out and back the club. We will have a very important part to play this season and the future beyond and I urge everyone to go out and participate in these fundraising schemes or by buying shirts, STs etc.

The stronger we are, the harder we will be to kick out. Let's not forget that whilst the stadium is important, we have to be stronger as a business as a whole.

i think this buy a brick is a great idear.lots of fans have losted loved ones over the years .WHAT A WAY TO REMBER THEM.my friend and i said a while ago it would be a good idear if fans could buy bricks to help build the new stadium.my self and friends will be buying ours as soon as we can.lets get on as soon as possible and get OUR NEW STADIUM BUILT.

Thing is too, it might not just be Cas fans who want to buy bricks. It'd be great for people from other teams to buy them an see them whenever they play Cas. Albeit nice messages on them.
