And last year attendance against leeds was down on previous seasons as well, last time we played leeds at home and it wasnt on sky we got a fullhouse. |

Turns out Wigan was 6574 and Celtic 6547 giving us a final average of 7490 which is down marginally from last season. |

i would to be able to blame our attendances on the recession and poor weather but mostly this is down to the poor/terrible homes performances coupled with sky tv games and yes there being less £££ in the pocket.
interested to know how much our away gates have gone up.

Also that we played local teams more than once at home last year which will have boosted it as this season have been replaced by Celtic and Salford!

We were fortunate this year to play Quins in the first game and Celtic in the last game though I reckon. If they'd been mid-season, we wouldn't have had anywhere near the crowds we did.

On the other hand we have had more home sky games and games where our usual kick off time has been changed than most clubs. I reckon thats probabley knocked a thousand off our average. |
