Out round town last night with my mate Pete celebrating the good news !!! What a night we had!!

I'd love to know what it is the council have done for Cas other than their duty of considering a privately prepared planning application. I'm pretty sure they consider quite a few of them, but I don't think the act of granting one automatically makes them owned by the applicant.

Mr Lunn's (of Lateral Properties) address to the crowd at half time was very well received. There wasn't a lot of detail but more of a summary of events and thank you's to the people concerned. I did notice the word "community" (as in "community stadium"icon_wink.gif used on a few occasions.

We were also introduced to the director of GMI Constrution who are the principal contractors who recently built Rotherham United's ground.

Great news about the stadium and all looks good for the future. Cas have held back from big spending (yeh thank you Jack Fulton) but basically have played themselves to were they are, championship and all that and now reaping rewards.
Some clubs have tried to buy success and end up standing still or going backwards and still feel hard done by.
Steve Gill and co, Darrell Powell and co take us to the next stage in the era of the club.
