The number of parking spaces is appropriate for a development of this size.
Cas are confident that planning will go through still.

| At the end of the day if it doesn't happen for us and don't get a franchise we still own where we play at least.
They can't say that up the road(new or old ground),and how many others in S.L can?

That is exactly how i see it too, yeah the news yesterday will be great if it happens but if it doesn't we've still got 'darn't lane' and it may not be a shiney stadium but it has history how many grounds can boast of kids been given the day of school to go see their teams play against international teams, go back many years when people were packed in like sardines (thanks to health and safety this will never happen again) however this is history not something that money can buy

23517.gif George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side.":23517.gif |

| Yeah right. We have another option, but we aren't going to tell anyone where it is. No one will object and it's not green belt. Oh and would be ready at the same time as Cas' ground. I can smell something.

| He forgot to mention where the money will come from. Something the Wakey fans (and some Cas) fans seem to be obsessed about with Cas Tigers.

| I wonder what happened to 'Newmarket is the only site we can build on' and 'Leeds Council will have to suggest somewhere else for us to build a stadium'. Well, I suggest they go build it at Plan B.

Could this be the first sign that Yorkcourt may be doing the deed?

| Quote: bigalf "Wakey Plan B if NM falls any further behind.
Not Oakwell, Not BV, but a "New Stadium" elsewhere!!
This new fella at Wakey is starting to remind me of Hicks & Gillette who bought Liverpool FC. Came in spouting their grand plans which included a revised new stadium design (the existing new stadium plans not being grand enough for them!) and even famously said "there'll be a spade in the ground in 50 days". Took a bit of time but eventually people realised they were empty promises!
Most interesting point about that article is the confirmation that they plan to play at Belle View in 2012 and that this will be in the franchise application. The one area where they could possibly get a tick ahead of Cas was by playing in a temporary stadium such as Oakwell but they've decided to give that up...

The irony sorry but whatever happens about the franchise and by the way I am past caring if its us its us so what we wont be relegated but pushed out as before, you have been out for a season and came back. But going back to the post and the Irony I know we all get blurred vision about our clubs but wake up and smell the coffee about your development it aint happening any time soon if at all.

| What happened to the fact that Wakefield were to be out of the ground at the end of THIS season?..

Whatever fella. Looks a lot more likely to happen than Newmarket right now...

Bit early to start on the bitter isn't it?
The irony is you lot STILL think it wont happen, it's either a mass head in the sand moment in Wakey or just a MASSIVE inferiority complex because your more successful, profitable neighbours will be playing SL next year while you get to go to Barrow & Fev.

"Stand by me as I stand by you, be brave and dare to dream".: |
|
| Is there really any need for all this? Why don't people just keep their eyes in their own back garden as opposed to looking over the fence and pouring scorn on anything your neighbour is trying to do. Personally I'd wait a while before popping any corks, it's far from over!
